This alloy boasts outstanding characteristics: high magnetic permeability (typically ranging from 80,000 to 100,000 in an annealed state at around 40 gauss), very low coercivity, good ductility, and a tensile strength of approximately 600-700 MPa when cold-worked, with a yield strength of about 300-350 MPa and elongation around 30-40%. The density is roughly 8.7 g/cm³, and careful heat treatment is essential after fabrication to restore its full magnetic shielding capabilities.
