Typically, Copper Nickel Bolts are constructed from Cu-Ni 90/10 (C70600) and Cu-Ni 70/30 (C71500) alloys, which contain 90% or 70% copper and 10% or 30% nickel, along with small amounts of iron and manganese to boost mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. These bolts generally exhibit a tensile strength ranging from 275 to 350 MPa and a yield strength between 105 and 150 MPa, all while maintaining excellent ductility and thermal stability. They are resistant to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and marine biofouling, making them particularly well-suited for both submerged and coastal settings, where standard steel fasteners would succumb to corrosion and wear.
